Daniel is a licensed attorney and certified public accountant (CPA) who focuses on business and tax law matters. His unique experience as both an attorney and a CPA at a big four public accounting firm allows him to successfully advise clients on diverse and complex business and tax issues.
Daniel has extensive experience structuring and closing nontraditional financing projects throughout the country, such as projects involving new markets tax credit (NMTC), historic tax credit (HTC), low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC), HUD insured loans, and other federal and state incentives. In addition, Daniel regularly advises on business and tax matters related to the formation of joint ventures and partnerships, business acquisitions and reorganizations, and the formation and tax compliance of tax-exempt business entities, such as 501(c)(3) and other non-profit organizations.
